To date I have kept a dedicated notebook with recipes, their text or online sources, firing temperature and any notes about ingredient substitutions. When the tiles come out of the kiln I photograph them against the recipe page and add notes about their success or failure.

I have decided that I need a more professional approach, so I have taken the following steps
I have made my own batch of 50 test tiles, all numbered, with holes at the top so that they can be hung on wire or string, or pinned to a board.
I have bought 50 small clear containers with lids, just enough to hold a small 100g+ batch of glaze
I have stuck labels on the containers in advance, yes, I really am becoming organised.
I think I need an online database too, so that my work is backed up. I need to think what might be the best long-term solution.
