About
Having worked as a lecturer, I returned to education and completed an MA in Ceramics at the University of Central Lancashire in December 2022. I have since set up my own ceramic studio in Greater Manchester.

Each of my sculptural pieces is hand-built and textured, before being painted with multiple layers of coloured slips, oxides and glazes. I have studied glaze technology and created my own distinctive palette that is used to create something unique. My inspiration is drawn from the architecture and history of Manchester. I am interested in how urban buildings and pathways record change and the passage of time, and embody our shared history and memories.
My work has been showcased in a number of exhibitions and fairs throughout the North West of England, and Wales.
