Welcome to my website. Having worked as a lecturer, I recently returned to education and completed an MA in Ceramics at the University of Central Lancashire in December 2022. I am currently setting up my own ceramic studio in Greater Manchester.
Each of my sculptural pieces is hand-built and textured, before being painted with multiple layers of coloured slips, oxides and glazes. Working with my own distinctive palette I aim to weather the hard edges, planes, and angles of each piece and create something truly unique. My inspiration is drawn from the architecture and history of the city centre, and I am interested in exploring how buildings and pathways embody shared history and memories.
